3rd Young Scientist Cancer Congress

Meet the editor – discuss your research project with a Nature Cancer editor

Why this matters

At YS2C, we believe that knowing how to communicate your science is just as important as conducting it. That’s why we are proud to host a " Meet the Editor " session — a rare opportunity to engage directly with a professional editor from a leading scientific journal.

For this 3rd edition of YS2C, we are honored to welcome an editor from Nature Cancer.

Plenary Session

The editor will share their perspective during a dedicated plenary session:

October 10 | 17:10 – 17:40

Don’t miss this exceptional opportunity to understand what editors look for, how to improve your manuscripts, and how the publishing process works at top-tier journals.

1:1 “Meet the Editor” Sessions

In addition to the talk, we are organizing individual 1:1 meetings with the editor. This is your chance to:

  • Present your research and future manuscript
  • Receive personal, constructive feedback
  • Ask questions in a confidential setting

When?

  • October 9, 13:00 – 14:00
  • October 10, 13:00 – 14:00

These sessions are short and highly focused — a unique opportunity to get expert advice that could help shape your publication.

Who can apply?

  • PhD students, postdocs, and young clinicians with a research project or manuscript in progress.
  • Registration is required to be considered for a slot.

Deadline to apply: October 3 at 23:59
